Video Description: Guam-- The Mayor's Council of Guam has chosen to cancel its plans to allow the popular poke game Texas Hold 'Em at this year's Liberation Day carnival. PNC's Stefan Sebastian reports the change of plans came after Gov. Felix Camacho objected to the game on Wednesday.
The politcians sould not be afraid of Texas hold em' on Guam. The game is more of skill rather than gambling. If it was legalized, it would mostly benefit the island. The politicians are scared because they are goody two-shoed with no knowledge of the game. Also because of religious beliefs.
If the people were to choose today to allow it, it would pass for sure. The game is becoming popular on the island.
